At last! (Near) Completion!

I received my new motherboard/RAM/CPU the other day and installed it. After getting Windows XP up and running, I plugged in the ArcadeVGA card in and wired up the monitor to the VGA connector. More pics are on the way, but this made a world of difference! The games finally run in their native resolutions, and I couldn't be more pleased with how they look and feel now. Not to mention, some of the newer games, which had previously run sluggish, run at full speed with no delay whatsoever. The only work left now is to make some final tweaks to Windows and MameWah.



I also picked up my new marquee from the post office today and installed it. Wow.

I'll post more pics tomorrow night if I have time.

I'm trying to do the same thing with an old Asteroids cabinet. I currently have two problems.

The first problem is that the original CPO was modified and I need dimensions of the original so I can have one made. In particular, I need the angle for the lip which holds the bezel in place. I'm hoping you can help me out.

My second problem is mounting the monitor. I have a 20" Sony CRT and like the way you mounted yours. What did you do to bridge the gap from the plexiglass bezel to the wood surrounding the CRT?

I am planning a Mame cabinet for my old game consoles. My plan is to model the cabinet after an Asteroids cabinet. If it isn't any trouble, I could really use the dimensions of your cabinet. My email address is chanan1976@hotmail.com
